I previously shared some photos that I took through the dining room window of the sparrows who visit our garden daily. I was very pleased that I managed to take these whilst I was actually out in the garden, without scaring them away.
They spend a lot of time lounging around on the wooden edges of the borders in between dust-bathing...
..as well as picking over the soil finding things to eat.
They've really enjoyed the new bird bath, especially in this warmer weather.
And the first bird-bath we put in the garden is still visited regularly, too.
