Apparently kitties need blankets.....

.....according to my darling daughter at any rate 😄

So I got distracted from the guest bedroom blanket yet again (in case you're interested: 14 squares done, 118 to go), and made a kitty blanket ~ one down, one to go.....I suppose I should be thankful that Beverly only has two cats!  Still, it has at least been an ideal project for using up some of my oddments of yarn, especially the ones that didn't turn out to be as soft or as nice as I was expecting ~ I doubt if that will bother Belle and Luna in the slightest 😉

I made the blanket using waffle stitch, which creates a lovely squishy feel.  I then edged it with two rounds of half-trebles (US half double crochet) and finally finished with Lucy's bobble-shell edging.  I made a rookie mistake in that I told Beverly how lovely and squishy the blanket is.....so now, of course, she has decided that she needs one for herself so that's another project added to my ever-increasing crochet to-do list!
